DEAR PARENTS: Franktown Rocks is a safe and fun online world where your kids can play and learn.  It’s brought to you by Brainwave Studios, a high-tech children’s entertainment company based in Nashville, TN.  Brainwave Studios was founded and is run by parents like you, who care about what their young kids are doing online.  Which is why we’ve made Franktown Rocks a safe, friendly, and educational place for kids to play.  It’s not only safe enough for our own kids, it was designed for them! 

Currently Franktown Rocks is in a public Beta testing phase and there is no charge to sign up and start playing. Kids are encouraged to give us feedback through the site on any ideas or questions they have as well as any problems they run across. This is all done through their online character. The only information we require at sign up is a parent’s email address.  We do not require, or even ask for, real names, ages, cities, or any other personal information.  And we’ll never sell your email address to anyone else.

Franktown Rocks is easy for your kids to play.  There’s nothing to install, just sign in and start having fun!

Kids can chat and send mail on our website.  So we’ve spent a great deal of time and effort developing a proprietary program that not only filters out the inappropriate language you would expect, it also flags words that indicate the potential of personal information being shared between users.  Site activity is tracked by both electronic and human monitors.  And we’ve built a reporting system where users can quickly and easily report other users who are breaking the rules.
