About Brainwave Studios
Franktown Rocks is brought to you by Brainwave Studios, a high-tech children's entertainment company based in beautiful (and historic) Franklin, TN. Brainwave has been creating websites, animations, original music, interactive programs, sound design, and other multimedia production since 1996.

As parents, musicians, and web design specialists, the founders of Brainwave set out to create a music-based virtual world where children could play games, have fun, learn about music, and interact. They wanted Franktown Rocks to be a place they'd feel comfortable letting their own children visit.

After more than year of consultation, research and testing, Franktown Rocks opened for public testing in May of 2008. Thanks to great reviews from players and parents, word quickly spread. In October 2008, Franktown Rocks officially launched. Since then we've seen incredible growth and been committed to regularly adding new features and content to keep Franktown Rocks continually growing and fun!
